Important changes are coming to the Shop’s operations. Warehouse management and order fulfillment will move to a professional fulfillment provider, bringing improved shipping options and more reliable processing. Please read the details about the transition schedule.
First of all, I would like to thank you for your trust and support. The number of orders has been steadily increasing, which is great news. However, we have reached the point where it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to guarantee the fast order processing and shipping times you have become used to while handling everything on my own.
Every single order has contributed to the growth and long-term sustainability of the Zen3D Shop, and I am truly grateful for your support.
To ensure that order processing remains fast and reliable in the future, warehouse management and order fulfillment will be taken over by a professional fulfillment service provider. The current, much-loved but somewhat amateur DIY operation will be replaced by a professional team.
This change will mainly affect the background processes, but there will also be some consequences that customers may notice. The good news is that more shipping options will become available, and several shipping methods will also become more affordable.
However, the transition also comes with some compromises. Due to the requirements of the fulfillment system, very low-value products sold individually — such as screws or JST connectors — will no longer be available in their current form.
Expected transition schedule
- August 15 – Some larger products (such as filaments) will be temporarily removed from the Shop.
- August 20,21 – National holiday in Hungary
- August 23 – Products are starting to disappear from the shop at a faster rate.
- August 31 – The Shop will temporarily close. Discontinued products will remain available for purchase until this date.
- September 1 – The Shop is expected to reopen, initially with a limited product selection. The range of available products will then be expanded in several steps until the usual selection is restored. International shipping methods will be available on a limited basis upon relaunch.
- October 1 – All products that have not been discontinued are expected to be available at this time
I hope the transition will go smoothly, but of course, smaller issues may occur. If you experience any problems, please let me know, and I will do my best to resolve them as quickly as possible.
